Lesotho College of Education, Thaba-Tseka

The Lesotho College of Education Maseru Campus’ sister campus is Thaba-Tseka Campus. The mission, vision, and values are the same across the two campuses. Ms. Mammita Mosaase is the director of the Thaba-Tseka campus, and Mr. Motlatsi Lets’oara is her assistant.

Annual enrollments at the Thaba-Tseka campus have risen steadily since it opened, from 120 in 2006 to 378 in 2016. Currently, students pursuing a Diploma in Education (Secondary) in the Sciences (Mathematics and Physics).

National University of Lesotho, Maseru

The major and oldest university in Lesotho, the National University of Lesotho, is situated in Roma, which is situated 34 kilometers (21 miles) southeast of Maseru, the country’s capital.

A barrier of rocky rocks surrounds the expansive Roma valley, creating stunning vistas. There are four different seasons and a temperate climate on the campus.

The Senate and Council, which were both formed under the Act, are the bodies that oversee academic policy at the university.

Lerotholi Polytechnic

An independent public institution known as Lerotholi Polytechnic (LP) was founded in 1905. It provides both technician and craft programs and is administered by the Lerotholi Polytechnic Act of 1997.

From roughly 50 pupils in 1905 to over 3000 today, it has increased significantly. The university has four schools, including the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) and the School of the Built Environment (SOBE), both of which provide engineering diplomas in addition to craft certifications.

The School of Enterprise and Management (SEM) offers diplomas in commercial programs and certificates in textiles. The School of Continuing Education (SOCE), on the other hand, focuses on expanding access to education by providing industry and the general public with particular need-based programs and courses while also making use of available chances to make money for the institution.
