Eon Essay Contest is a project of Players Philanthropy Fund, a Maryland charitable trust recognized by IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178). Contributions to Eon Essay Contest are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The Eon Essay Contest is open to all students (high school, undergraduate, and graduate) 13 and older to study for the Bachelor or Master or Ph.D. program. This is an Essay competition that awards the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd a scholarship.

The benefit of this competition is prize money of $42,000USD in total. There are ten prizes available, ranging from 15,000 USD to 2,000 USD.

The International Students Global Contest is proud to announce its 2022 Scholarship KaS Program.   1. Organization of American States (OAS) Scholarship Program – Undergraduate

OAS offers an Argentina scholarship in bachelor programs for students of its member-states and residents from the English-speaking Caribbean and Suriname.

To be eligible considered for the scholarship, applicants must be fit into the following requirements;

Applicants must have finished at least two years of their Bachelor’s degree to qualify. Those who hold an Associate’s degree will be considered as well.

Additionally, the student must have a GPA that meets the university’s requirements. The applicant is also expected to be in top physical and mental health to finish the entire program.

Apart from covering the tuition for two years, the $10,000-cap amount will also shoulder the awardee’s other needs. These include health insurance, subsistence allowances, yearly book allowance, and roundtrip airfare.

Each applicant must submit the necessary documents, including transcripts, recommendation letters, curriculum vitae, and ID card copy.

  1. In-Region Scholarship at the National University of San Juan in Argentina

In-Region Scholarship is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the in-region scholarship is given to students from selected Latina American and Caribbean countries.

The foundation will award four slots each for the master’s and Ph.D. programs. This scholarship is open to those who wish to pursue any of the following programs at the National University of San Juan: MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a Ph.D. in Electronic Control Systems.

Benefits

The accepted scholars will receive a monthly allowance (towards food & accommodations), study & research, printing, in-region travel, and insurance. A family allowance will be given to the scholar’s accompanying kin as well. In all, this is a fully-funded scholarship for scholars.

  1. University of Buenos Aires (UBA) International Scholarships

The University of Buenos Aires was founded in 1821 and is considered the premier university in Ibero-America. The institution has more than 320,000 students enrolled across 13 faculties.

UBA is the home of five Nobel laureates is listed as one of the top 100 universities by the World University Rankings. In order to help promote Argentine ties to other countries, UBA is hosting various scholarships in Argentina for certain nationalities across the world. There are currently bursaries available for Italian, Mexican, and Chinese students.

The scholarships for Italians and Mexicans include monthly allowances, while Chinese scholars get more perks or advantages. The scholars will also get health insurance and Spanish lessons on top of the monthly stipend. The scholarship offers a Master’s or Doctorate degree

Additionally, there are post-doctoral research stays available for international students. The bursary is given for three to six months. The researcher will also be afforded a two-month Spanish course as necessary.

  1. Kleinhans Fellowship for Community Forestry Research

The Kleinhans Fellowship program is one of the best scholarships in Argentina for international students. It is open to Master’s, Doctoral-level, or Post-doc students of every nationality. Every student who plans on conducting community forestry research in Argentina can apply but should however know, that priority will be given to applicants of Doctoral-level or Post-doc students. The scholarship prize award is $20,000 per year for two years.

Application requirements for the scholarship include;

  •  Letters of recommendation
  •  List of potential funding sources.
  • The applicant must also submit a research proposal (not exceeding seven pages) and the projected budget.

The Kleinhans Fellowship will be granted to students whose research will cover the following:
