Brockman Scholarship Program
The Brockman Scholarship program is a merit-based full scholarship that covers five years of study on the College Station campus of Texas A&M University.
The scholarship supports four years of undergraduate studies in an approved program of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), as well as the one-year MS Business graduate degree program at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School.
Aside from academic merit, we are seeking to attract students who can demonstrate high levels of constructive community engagement, and who exhibit the qualities of a good citizen.
It is imperative that applicants understand that they are applying for a scholarship that provides for both an undergraduate and graduate degree.
It is a condition of being awarded the scholarship that the recipient will enroll in, and successfully complete, both the four-year undergraduate STEM degree and the MS Business graduate degree program.
The Brockman Scholars Program is now preparing for its fourth intake of Scholars.
The Brockman Scholars Program application portal will be open from September 1 through December 1, 2020.
Once a completed application is submitted, a candidate may be invited for an interview. Please note that not all candidates will be invited to be interviewed. Due to COVID-19 precautions, all interviews will be conducted via teleconference.
Scholarship offers may be made on an early acceptance, rolling admissions basis following an applicant’s interview.
The earlier the completed application is received, the sooner a candidate may be considered for an interview. Therefore, early applications are strongly encouraged.
A candidate may receive an invitation to interview at any time after the completed application has been processed. All interviews will have been conducted by the end of February 2021.
Applicants who are offered scholarships will receive an email ‘Notification of Award’ at any time after their interviews.
Accepted candidates will have a maximum of seven calendar days in which to accept or decline their offers.
Candidates who decline their offers of acceptance will be returned to the pool of interviewed applicants still under consideration.
Offers will be extended until all scholarship places are filled.
