- $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of an undergraduate degree,
- 50 percent fee remission for the three-year duration of an undergraduate degree, or
- 100 percent fee remission for the three-year duration of an undergraduate degree

Melbourne Graduate Scholarship

Benefits of University of Melbourne graduate Scholarships 2022
The scholarship provides fee remissions of between 25% and 100% of tuition fees for the duration of your course.
Number of scholarship awards: Around 28 students per year
Application Dates
Students need to submit their admission applications to an appropriate graduate school of their choice.
How to apply
After students have been admitted, those students will be automatically considered, and students do not need to submit a separate application form.

Graduate Research Scholarships (Masters and Ph.D.)
This is one of the University of Melbourne scholarships open to graduate masters and Ph.D. students to undertake research work at the University.
Thus if you are carrying out any research work in the university, you are eligible to apply.

- Stipend and fee offset scholarships
- Full fee offset for up to two years for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree or up to four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.
- Living allowance of $30,600 per year pro-rata (2020 full-time study rate) for up to two years for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.
- The living allowance may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick maternity and parenting leave.
- Relocation grant of $2000 for students moving from States or Territories other than Victoria or $3000 for students moving from outside Australia.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership for international students who require a student visa to study in Australia
- Fee offset scholarships
- Full fee offset for up to two years for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree or up to four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.
Number of people to award scholarship: 300 per year awarded by University of Melbourne and 300 per year awarded by the Australian Government
Application Dates: The deadline is November 4 and April 30 for Master’s programs.

To access the scholarship application, you must log in to your account using your VTAC ID and PIN. - Open the scholarships application
Select ‘Scholarship application’ in your VTAC user account. All applications through VTAC are submitted online. - 4. Enter your personal details
