List of Universities in the Netherlands

Dutch wooden shoes, flowers, unusual architecture, and Vincent van Gogh are all well-known symbols of the Netherlands. In addition, the Netherlands offers an excellent education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The school provides a variety of English-taught programs. There are 41 public institutions of applied sciences, 14 research universities, and 8 private universities from which to choose. More than half of the population (41.1%) earned a degree from a university or other type of educational institution.

After starting school, pupils will encounter particular teaching strategies that emphasize in-class contact, teamwork, and international cooperation.

Everyone who attends university must pay tuition, however, non-EU students typically pay more. The percentage of overseas students is gradually rising and is approaching 5%.
