Heyning-Roelli Foundation Scholarship

The Heyning-Roelli Foundation was founded to support underprivileged students financially in pursuing their studies abroad by providing scholarships to talented students for travel and subsistence expenses. The foundation has a group for Bachelor students who wish to participate in an exchange program for one or two semesters at a partner university. Exchange programs include the Swiss-European Mobility Program (formerly Erasmus) as well as other programs according to bilateral agreements between Swiss universities and foreign universities.

In these programs, students stay enrolled at their home university and continue their studies there after their stay abroad. At the partner university students have to be enrolled as “exchange students”. Double-degree or joint-degree students are not supported by the Heyning-Roelli Foundation. Applications from students having already started their exchange are also not supported (retroactively) by the foundation.

Benefits

There is no exact amount for the scholarship as the scholarship award varies as it depends on the financial situation of the students as well as the destination and duration of the studies abroad.
