Dynamic soft matter materials Ph.D. scholarship

Students are advised to join the multinational research team based at QUT and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany in research advanced reprogrammable material design.

Each successful applicant will get to complete their Ph.D. in the field of organic photochemistry for advanced reprogrammable material design. Based on our Science and Engineering Faculty, you will also spend time at our research hub at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany.

Benefits

The scholarship will award the following benefits to scholars

  • A minimum of $27,171 per year, for 3 years
  • A QUT tuition fee sponsorship (for international students only)

To be Eligible

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Ph.D. program, which are the same requirements for the scholarship;

  • Applicants must make sure to meet the entry and English language requirements (an IELTS score of 6.5 or above if English is not your first language)
  • You need to find a supervisor
  • Applicants must prepare their supporting documents
  • Make sure you complete your research proposal.
  • If you’re applying in the annual scholarship round, it may take longer to receive your outcome. Make sure you check the eligibility and dates for applying for a research scholarship.

  • Two detailed letters of reference (including one from the supervisor of your research thesis).
