Dartmouth College – International Scholarship

Dartmouth College is a private Ivy League research university in Hanover, New Hampshire. It is one of the nine colonial colleges chartered before the American Revolution and among the most prestigious in the United States.

With over 40 departments and programs, Dartmouth’s liberal arts core is constituted which promotes critical thinking, creativity, and unity among the students.  Students learn to ask bigger questions and apply more perspectives to the answers and they also learn a deeper understanding of humanity and a broader view of what’s at stake for societies and throughout the world. Dartmouth College inspires students to practice good global citizenship while strengthening their own communities.

Now to the scholarship or financial aid, Dartmouth College tries its very best to meet the demonstrated need of all admitted undergraduates, including those from other countries.

Benefit

Dartmouth College has scholarships and loans available to international students, it varies for each student and may include an allowance for travel to the U.S or more. Considering the circumstances may be unique for each student the financial aid office will help in any way they can.

To be Eligible

Note the following criteria while sending your documents directly to the office

  • Confidential information, including personally identifiable information (PII), should not be transmitted via email without encryption.
  • Dartmouth has contracted with the College Board to offer a secure upload for US Citizens and Permanent Residents to submit application information through IDOC.
  • If you are sending sensitive information directly to the office please mail the documents, or provide the documents via an encrypted application (i.e., Winzip) with password protection.
  • The password to open any encrypted documents should be sent via a separate email.

Regular Decision

How to Apply

When you apply for financial aid, your parent’s country of residence will determine which documents you need to submit. Parent’s Country is divided into three sections;

  • PARENTS LIVING IN THE U.S.
  • PARENTS LIVING IN CANADA
  • PARENTS LIVING IN ANOTHER COUNTRY
