Scholarships are available from the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport for underdeveloped nations. All students from developing nations and/or countries through political and economic transformation are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

The deadline for applications is September 30, 2022.

Developing countries are eligible to participate.
To be taken at (country): Czech Republic’s public universities
Students applying to public universities in the Czech Republic to study Economics, Agriculture, Informatics, Environment, and Energetics are eligible.

The scholarships are primarily for adults who are foreign nationals from developing third-world countries who need financial assistance. As a result, neither a Czech citizen, nor a citizen of a European Union member state, nor any other foreign individual having a permit to permanently remain on Czech Republic territory may be granted this sort of scholarship. Furthermore, no scholarships may be awarded to anybody under the age of 18. (Applicants must be 18 years old by September 1st of the year they begin their studies in the Czech Republic.)

In Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Study Programs, plus a one-year English Language Preparatory Course (which is integrated with other field-specific training): Graduates of upper secondary schools, or Bachelor’s / Master’s degree courses, as applicable, are eligible for government scholarships in this category. They can only enroll in study programs where instruction is given in English. Applicants are usually needed to take admission examinations at the higher education institution in question, depending on the academic area. Successful completion of the Entrance Exam is a requirement for receiving a scholarship; or

In follow-up study programs, Master or Doctoral Study Programs: Government subsidies in this category are offered to graduates of Bachelor or Master Study Programs who enroll in WHO study programs that are taught in English.

Scholarship duration:

These government scholarships are designed to cover the usual term of study plus a one-year Czech language preparatory course (which is combined with other field-specific training).
