THE KOGI STATE SCHOLARSHIP

The Kogi State student’s bursary also referred to as the Students Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS) is available to all indigene of Kogi state. The scholarship was created mainly to make available financial aid for indigenes who are interested in taking their academic pursuit to the next level and so those indigenes can contribute immensely to the growth of the state and country. It is open to students of the following higher institutions: Kogi State University, Salem University, Federal Polytechnic Idah Kogi State Polytechnic, Federal College of Education Okene.  Courses for eligibility:

• Agricultural Engineering/Agricultural Science
• Architecture
• Business Administration/Economics
• Chemical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science/Computer Engineering/System Engineering
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Environmental Studies/Surveying
• Geology/Geophysics
• Law
• Mass Communication/Journalism
• Mechanical/Metallurgical & Materials Engineering
• Human Medicine/Dentistry/Pharmacy
• Petroleum Engineering

REQUIREMENT

• All applicants must be a full indigene of the state.
• The candidate must be 18years and above.
• Applicants must have made 5 credits and above in his/her O’level results.
• Candidates must be academically sound.
• Candidates must be full-time students of the above-mentioned institutions.
• Applicants must be in 100level and above.
• Candidates must have a CGPA of 3.00 and above.
• A valid Identification card.

• Ensure to read all guidelines given to avoid mistakes that would cost you the scholarship.
• After reading and you sure you understand tsp the apply button provided to beginning registration.
• Create an account with the website given and above.
• Log in to finish registration.
• Complete all details required like Matric number, BVN, Phone number, Email address.
• Proceed to make payment of the amount for the scholarship form, the price is not fixed.
• After payments finish registration by submitting your bank details.
• Upload scanned copies of the following:

Certificate of origin

Admission letter

Statement of result

Passport photograph

• Click on submit to finish.
• Please print a complete of the completed form.
