How to Report Someone to the EFCC

You can walk into any zonal directorate above, call the hotline, email info@efcc.gov.ng, or submit a written petition online through efcc.gov.ng. Include the names and phone numbers the person used, any payment details you were given, receipts, screenshots of chats, and the dates, in order.

Only trust contact details that end in @efcc.gov.ng or are published on efcc.gov.ng. Treat anyone who asks you to pay money so that your lost money can be “recovered” as a second scam.

If you are reporting fraud, our guide on why internet fraud never pays explains what the EFCC prosecutes.
