Worth of a Scholarship
The Borlaug Global Cocoa Initiative Fellowship provides training opportunities in specific areas such as crop breeding, integrated pest management, and post-harvest management. Later, the American mentor will travel to the man’s residence to continue the collaboration.
Eligibility for Borlaug Fellowships 2022
Candidates should meet the following criteria to be considered for the Borlaug Fellowship Program:
• Be a citizen of a country that qualifies.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English and hold a Master’s degree or above.
• Be in the early or middle stages of their career, with at least two (but no more than ten) years of relevant experience.
• Work for a university, a government agency, or a research organization in their home country.
• Demonstrate their desire to continue working in their home country after the fellowship is completed.

• Completed application form with a 2-3 page program proposal and action plan
• Approval from the applicant’s place of residence, signed
• Two letters of recommendation
