What to Do If You’re Admitted
If your name appears on the UNN admission list, follow these steps immediately:
Step 1: Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
Log in to JAMB CAPS and click “Accept Admission”
Step 2: Pay Acceptance Fee
- Visit unn.edu.ng or unnportal.edu.ng
- Log in with your JAMB Registration Number
- Generate a Payment Invoice with Remita number
- Pay ₦30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira) acceptance fee at any commercial bank or UNN Microfinance Bank
Step 3: Print Your Documents
After payment confirmation:
- Print your Admission Slip
- Complete the Acceptance Form online
Step 4: Proceed with Registration
- Pay other fees as indicated on the UNN website
- Complete course registration
Important Notice for Admitted Candidates
The UNN management has issued these important notices:
- Upload O’Level Results: Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB portal using a JAMB-approved CBT Centre
- Provisional Admission: This admission is provisional. If at any time it’s discovered you don’t possess the minimum requirements, the admission will be withdrawn
- Verify CAPS Status: Confirm that your admission is reflected on JAMB CAPS
What If My Name Is Not on the List?
If you’re not on the primary list:
- Don’t panic! Wait for supplementary admission lists
- Supplementary lists are usually released 2-3 weeks after the primary list
- Ensure your O’Level results are properly uploaded on JAMB
- Keep checking the UNN portal and JAMB CAPS regularly
UNN Cut-Off Marks (Guide)
UNN cut-off marks vary by course. Here’s a general guide:
