Rutgers University–Camden is offering a scholarship opportunity of up to $15,000 to all nonsponsored, international applicants who meet admission requirements and enroll full-time in the College of Arts and Sciences or the School of Business. All scholarships are contingent upon meeting Rutgers–Camden’s admission requirements.

Benefits
The scholarship will award $10,000 to scholars in two installments which means, scholars will receive $5,000 per semester. All Undergraduate International Chancellor’s Scholarships are renewable if the student maintains a 2.5 GPA at Rutgers–Camden.

Transfer Applicants
Transfer students with less than 24 college credits must submit an official secondary/high school transcript with all courses and final grades or an official copy of their finishing certificate (e.g. O-Level, CXC, IGCSE, etc.). A high school transcript is recommended for transfer students with 24+ credits completed. A transcript from each college/university attended is also required. The admissions committee may request a high school transcript from an applicant who has more than 24 college credits completed.

Note: Current high school students who are also taking college courses during high school should apply as first-year applicants, regardless of the number of college credits earned while in high school.
If this is your first time applying to Rutgers, you’ll need to create a community ID in order to begin your application. To create a Rutgers Community ID, provide your email address and create an 8-character password. You should create only one student account and submit just one application for the year you intend to enroll. If you created an account already, log in using the email address and 8-character password submitted previously.
Using Your Rutgers Community ID
If you need to make changes to the information submitted within your application, you can do so online from your Rutgers Community ID account. Features include:
Admitted students can accept their offer of admission and change their enrollment
Self-Service
Changes in legal name, and date of birth, as well as corrections to or the addition of a social security number, must be done with documentation (a government-issued photo ID for name change or date of birth update and a signed copy of a social security card to update or change social security number). Send a request to make these types of changes to our admissions offices. The student’s application portal can then be updated to request the needed documentation and such documentation can then be uploaded directly to the application portal.
Always include your full name and email address used on your Rutgers application when sending communications about your application.
A $70 non-refundable application fee is required. (Find fee information for the School of Health Professions.) Rutgers must receive the fee or a fee waiver before your application will be considered complete and ready for review.
Students with a GED diploma/certificate are required to submit their official results. A transcript of any and all high school work attempted is required in addition to the GED results.
The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program is open to eligible New Jersey residents. Interested students should review the eligibility requirements and select the EOF option on the Rutgers application. Students selecting the EOF option and submitting an undergraduate admissions application will then continue to the EOF application.
An English proficiency test score is required for applicants whose secondary schooling has been outside the U.S. in a country where English is not the principal language, regardless of U.S. residency or citizenship.
A portfolio, audition, or interview demonstrating artistic talent is required of all Mason Gross School of the Arts applicants. Mason Gross applicants will be emailed a supplemental application five business days after submitting the application for admission. Letters of recommendation are not used for admissions consideration. The Rutgers application provides multiple opportunities for applicants to describe their accomplishments, activities, community service, and personal experiences. Students should be certain to complete all sections of the Rutgers application to describe themselves.
There is no separate application for the scholarship. Applicants who meet the criteria are automatically considered when they apply and are admitted for admission to Rutgers–Camden.
But to apply to Rutgers and if this is your first time applying to Rutgers and you do not currently have a NetID, you will need to create a Community ID in order to begin your application. Once you have created your Community ID, you will use it to return to your application or view your admission status in the application portal.
Applications are reviewed as they become complete with all required credentials. For early action applicants, a guaranteed decision should be made by February 15. For regular action applicants, a guaranteed decision should be done by March 31.

The Rutgers University Maximum Admission Consideration program allows applicants to be automatically considered for another Rutgers choice if they are not admissible to the schools selected on their submitted application. This provides students the ability to attend Rutgers University in a different location and, in many cases, complete a program in their major of choice and graduate with a prestigious Rutgers University degree.
