School of Mental Health Nursing, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Barnawa, Kaduna Admission

Qualified Nurses are encouraged to apply for admission to the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Barnawa Kaduna’s 18-month Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Program for the academic year 2022/2023.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Registered Nurse is required for this admission.
• Registration with the Nigerian Nursing and Midwifery Council is required (NMCN).
• The NMCN has awarded you a current practicing license.
• Possession of five (5) credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in O’level results (WAEC, NECO). It is OK to use a combination of WAEC and NECO. NABTEB is also valid.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms are available at the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Kaduna’s School of Post-Basic Psychiatric Nursing.

APPLICATION FEE:

A non-refundable application fee of N10,000 is payable by remittance to Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Kaduna.

DATE OF CLOSURE:

On or by Friday, March 11th, 2022, complete application forms, photocopies of applicable credentials, and two (2) passport photographs (colored on white background) should be mailed to the school mail address. The pre-test and interview will be held on March 15th and 16th, 2022, respectively.

Please keep in mind that successful candidates should anticipate beginning training in the first week of May 2022.
