The NEPAD, Regional Integration, and Trade Department (ONRI) is the Bank Group’s NEPAD point of convergence and offers warning types of assistance to the Bank and Regional Member Countries in the space of the NEPAD cycle (explicitly in Regional Infrastructure Development).

The Department facilitates Bank Group exercises on NEPAD and gives specialized guidance to the African Union, its NEPAD Secretariat, the Regional Economic Communities (RECs), and other the AU Specialized Institutions (SIs) on program improvement and execution with specific consideration on the Program for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA)
