In Oman, higher education aims to promote knowledge through technology and scientific education while also preserving, enhancing, and developing local culture, community principles, and values.
Surprisingly, this tiny nation is home to 20 universities, including 16 public universities, 4 private universities, and 11 colleges. A total of 20,000 international students make up about 37 percent of her population who are higher education students.
In their schools, ministries, tourism sector, hospitals, engineering, and oil industry, newly graduated students are urged to hunt for jobs.
Students from other countries could be required to show proof of a work permit. However, all students can participate in practicum and internship programs.
