University of Bamako

In the Mali city of Bamako, there is a public institution called the University of Bamako. It debuted in 1996 and goes by the name of the University of Mali.

Between 1996 and 2011, the Institution of Bamako (French: Université de Bamako) served as the premier public university in the Mali city of Bamako.

These universities are the University of Social Sciences and Management of Bamako (USSGB), the University of Letters and Human Sciences of Bamako (ULSHB), the University of Sciences, Techniques and Technologies of Bamako (USTTB), and the University of Legal and Political Sciences of Bamako (USJPB), as well as the new institution known.

Between 1996 and 2011, the Institution of Bamako (French: Université de Bamako) served as the premier public university in the Mali city of Bamako. The University of Mali was yet another name for it.

University of Sankore

University of Sankoré, Madrasah is one of three historic educational institutions that can be found in Timbuktu, Mali. It is also known as the University of Sankoré or Sankore Masjid.

Mansa Musa, the emperor of the Mali Empire, is thought to have found it. The University of Timbuktu is made up of the Sankoré, Djinguereber, and Sidi Yahya mosques.

The three masajid (mosques) of Sankore, Djinguereber, and Sidi Yahya in the city of Timbuktu in what is now Mali are together referred to as the University of Timbuktu.

In contrast to modern universities, the University of Timbuktu had neither a central administration nor a set curriculum.
