One of the most stunning islands in the Mediterranean is Cyprus. Along with gorgeous mountain ranges and pine forests, it offers beaches with plenty of sunshine.

There are numerous higher education institutions, none of which have university status, along with 3 state universities, 5 private universities, and many others.

In Cyprus, 45.8% of the population has finished tertiary education. Universities are free or only charge small fees for EU citizens, which supports relatively reasonable living circumstances and encourages an increasing number of students to visit and enroll in the Cypriot educational system.

International students from outside the EU, however, must regrettably pay yearly tuition. There is a chance to get financial aid and grants from ERASMUS, and some schools additionally provide scholarships based on academic performance.
