In Cuba, there are currently more than 112,000 people enrolled in the country’s higher education institutions, which include roughly 30 state-run colleges and 17 public universities. The major language used in lecturing is Spanish.
The student must pass the necessary tests to enroll in the institution. In Cuban universities and institutes, more than 18,000 foreign students study, with roughly 10 of them receiving scholarships.
