Genevieve Nnaji popularly known by her first name “Genevieve” was born on the 3rd of May, 1979 in Mbaise, Imo states Nigeria, and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria. She is the fourth child born of eight children born by their parents. Her father is an engineer and her mother, is a nursery and primary school teacher. She is a Nigerian actress, producer, director, and businesswoman.
Since she was raised in Lagos State, Nigeria, she had all her education there beginning from primary to secondary school and then finally tertiary education. She graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts.

She is also one of the most successful actresses in Nigeria and is known in most African countries. She has successfully signed several endorsement deals.
