John Ighodaro popularly known by his professional name as “Johnny Drille” was born on the 5th of July, 1990 in Edo state, Nigeria. He was born to a Christian family of Mr. and Mrs. Ighodaro who is clergy and school principal respectively. He is a talented Nigeria Singer, Songwriter, guitarist, stage performer, and entertainer.
He was born and raised in Benin City by their parent alongside other children. Due to this, he had all his education in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated from the University of Benin (UNIBEN) with a bachelor’s degree in English and Literature.
According to him, he started in his father’s church as a church choir where he sang along with his other siblings in the church. Johnny Drille got noticed after he did a cover music video for the song titled “Awww” by Di’ja – the Queen of Marvin Records.
This fast-growing music had featured music stars in Nigeria and is also considered one of the upcoming music artists making waves and having a lot of fan base who are mostly teenagers and young adults. He also got signed to one of the best and most popular record labels in Nigeria.
