3) Qualifications & Requirements for the College of Science
Professor (CONUASS 7 N5,073,220 ÷ 12)
Candidate must have a PhD and have served as Reader for 3 years or Senior Lecturer for a minimum of 6 years in a University. The ability to drive research projects at doctoral levels and give leadership to entrench academic culture is desirable. Candidates must have scholarly publications in reputable Journals.
Reader (CONUASS 6 N 4,175,818 ÷ 12)
The qualifications are similar to (i) above except that the ideal candidate must have served as a Senior Lecturer or its equivalent for 3 years in a University.
Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 5 N3,428,047 ÷ 12)
Candidate must have a PhD and 6 years of teaching Postdoctoral and quality research experience in a University or similar institution with relevant scholarly publications in peer review journals.
Lecturer I (COUNASS 4 N2,425,322 ÷ 12)
Candidate must have a PhD and show potential for research with evidence of relevant scholarly publications in a reputable journal.
Lecturer II (CONUASS 3 N1,925,958 ÷ 12)
Candidate must have a PhD in a relevant discipline or a Master’s degree but at an advanced stage of completion of a doctoral degree.
Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 2 N1,695,770 ÷ 12)
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with First Class (Honours) or Second Class (Honours) Lower Division and a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
4) Qualifications & Requirements for the College of Technology
Professor (CONUASS 7 N5,073,220 ÷ 12)
Candidates must have a PhD and have served as Readers for 3 years or Senior Lecturer for a minimum of 6 years in a University or similar institution. The ability to drive research projects at Doctoral levels and give leadership to entrench academic culture is desirable. Candidates must have scholarly publications in reputable journals. Possession of Industry experience will be an added advantage.
Reader (CONUASS 6 N 4,175,818 ÷ 12)

A) Registry
1. Deputy Registrar (CONTISS II 14: N3,716,263 ÷ 12)
Qualifications & Experience
Candidate should possess a good honours degree from a recognized University and should be a Principal Assistant Registrar plus at least 12 years experience in University Administration, four (4) years of which must be at the level of Principal Assistant Registrar. In addition, the candidate must be a member of relevant professional bodies and possess a good knowledge of ICT.
B) Bursary
(i) Stores & Supplies officer (CONTISS II 06: N873,551 ÷ 12)
Qualifications & Experience
1. Candidates should possess Certificates I & II of the Institute of Purchase & Supply
2. OND Purchasing & Supply, Marketing or Business Admin plus one (1) year experience.
(ii) Executive Officer (Accounts) (CONTISS II 06: N873,551 ÷ 12)
Qualification / Experience
1. Candidates should possess ND (Accounting)
2. Intermediate ICAN or equivalent certificate from a recognized Professional Accounting body.
C) Information and Communication Technology
(i) Deputy Director (CONTISS II 14: N3,716,263 ÷ 12)
Qualification & Experience
Candidates should possess an HND or BSc degree in either Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 12 years post-qualification experience, much of which should be in a University ICT management at the level of Chief Programmer / Chief System Analyst / Chief Webmaster with at least four (4) years on the grade. Candidates must be members of relevant professional bodies. A good knowledge of ICT is required.
(ii) Senior Programmer (CONTISS II 09: N1,693,790 ÷ 12)
Qualification & Experience
a) Candidates should possess s good B. Sc / HND plus 6 years post-qualification experience or
b) Masters in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 3 years post-qualification experience.
c) OND plus 9 years relevant experience.

1. Candidates should possess OND / Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical / Electronic Engineering plus 1-year attachment.
