The University of Uyo in other words known as UNIUYO is located in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State Nigeria. It was known as the University of the Cross River (Uniross) but finally changed to UNIUYO on October 1, 1991, by the federal government.
The vision of this University is to be a center of academic excellence by utilizing the available human and technological resources.
