PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION FOR PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS WITH NAME DISPARITY.

I am directed to inform you that as a fallout of the recently concluded Pre-Mobilization Workshop, it was resolved that information contained in statements of the result of domestically trained Prospective Corps Members must tally with what was supplied to NYSC by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) before they can be registered at the Orientation camps.

2. Reports from various Orientation camps across the country however indicate that many Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) have discrepancies in their statements with what is contained in the JAMB database and this contradicts the position of the Scheme.

3. After careful consideration, Management has resolved that such PCMs should write undertakings and be registered provisionally, pending when they would be able to resolve the differences with their Institutions of graduation within two weeks after the Orientation course.

4. By this decision, any PCM who cannot have his/her issue corrected/resolved by his/her CPI should be dekitted.

5. Please, comply strictly with this directive.
