RECRUITMENT OF CLINICAL & NON CLINICAL STAFF

In his onerous determination to strengthen and turnaround the healthcare system through the provision of adequate human resources for health His Excellency, (Dr.) Bello Muhammad, MON (Matawallen Maradun, Shettiman Sokoto), Executive Governor of Zamfara State has approved the recruitment 515 Clinical and Non Clinical Staff as additional manpower to bridge the gap of human resources for health at the secondary health facilities in Zamfara State.

The Zamfara State Hospital Services Management Board, the agency responsible for healthcare service delivery including recruitment and staffing of the 22 secondary health facilities (General Hospitals) and other affiliates is seeking eligible and qualified candidates for the following positions in secondary health facilities across the state.

• Medical Doctors
• Nurses/Midwives
• Pharmacy Technicians
• X-ray Technicians
• Medical Laboratory Technicians
• Medical Records Technicians
• Dental Technicians
• Drivers
• Wards Servants, Compound Labourers, Security Guards & Others

Requirements:

Interested applicant must possess the following:

MEDICAL AND DENTAL OFFICERS:

 MBBS degree or its equivalent from recognized institution
 Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
 Valid License to Practice
 NYSC Discharge/ Exemption Certificate

NURSING/MIDWIVES OFFICERS:

 Nursing Certificate from an approved institution (BNSC will be an added advantage)
 Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
 Valid License to Practice
 NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate if applicable

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN:

 Completion of an approved technician training from a recognized institution
 Registration with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria
 Valid Permit to Practice

X-RAY TECHNICIAN:

 Completion of an approved technician training from a recognized institution
 Registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria
 Valid Permit to Practice

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN:

 Completion of an approved technician training from a recognized institution
 Registration with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria
 Valid Permit to Practice

MEDICAL RECORD TECHNICIAN:

 Completion of an approved technician training from a recognized institution
 Registration with the Health Information Registration Board of Nigeria
 Valid Permit to Practice

DENTAL TECHNICIAN:

 Completion of an approved technician training from a recognized institution
 Registration with the Dental Therapists Registration Board of Nigeria
 Valid Permit to Practice

DRIVERS:

 School Certificate
 Valid Driver’s License

Ward Servants, Compound Labourers, Security Guards and Others:
 School Certificate
 Evidence of Physical Fitness
