Happy to inform you that following an accreditation exercise in December 2020, *The School of Midwifery, Bishop Shanahan Specialist Hospital, Nsukka, has just been accredited to run a three-year Basic Midwifery program by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.* It is a program for WAEC holders, and after three years of basic midwifery program, they can enroll into Post-Basic program in the School of Nursing for 18 months, thus coming out with double qualifications as Registered Nurse, Midwife.
*ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:* WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, with Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, at not more than two sittings. *Date of exam:* 30th March 2021.
*School resumption Date:* 2nd week of April.

The few that will write the entrance examination stand good chances of getting admission, provided they pass well and meet up with the requirements.*
