Happy to inform you that following an accreditation exercise in December 2020, *The School of Midwifery, Bishop Shanahan Specialist Hospital, Nsukka, has just been accredited to run a three-year Basic Midwifery program by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.* It is a program for WAEC holders, and after three years of basic midwifery program, they can enroll into Post-Basic program in the School of Nursing for 18 months, thus coming out with double qualifications as Registered Nurse, Midwife.
*ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:* WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, with Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, at not more than two sittings. *Date of exam:* 30th March 2021.
*School resumption Date:* 2nd week of April.
*Please, help us announce it to your parishioners, relatives, and friends. The exam and school resumption dates are close because we got the news of the accreditation just recently. The few that will write the entrance examination stand good chances of getting admission, provided they pass well and meet up with the requirements.*
