The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering recognize academically successful resident and non-resident students through diverse scholarships and the direct admit community.

About Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering

The Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering is an academic unit of Indiana University located on the Indiana University Bloomington campus and, under the name Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing, on the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis campus.

The Indiana University Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering are one of the world’s largest, broadest, and best technology and information schools. They help shape the future through interdisciplinary research and education that make the impossible possible and solve the problems of tomorrow today.

Their programs are broad, ranging from the technical to the societal and often blending the two. A Luddy education prepares students to thrive in today’s jobs and to adapt as technology careers change in the decades ahead.

 Benefit

The scholarship award amounts typically vary from $500 to $3,000 every year.

To be Eligible

  • To be considered for these opportunities and receive the Selective Scholarship Application, students need to showcase competitive grades, SAT or ACT scores, class rank, and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Applicants will need to major in either the Bachelor of Science in Informatics, the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, the Bachelor of Science in Intelligent Systems Engineering, the Bachelor of Science in Data Science, or the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Global Policy.
  • Submit a complete Admissions application by November 1 to be considered for the Selective Scholarship Application.
  • Students must also have a 3.75 or higher GPA, and a minimum new SAT score of 1310 (critical reading and math) or a minimum ACT of 28.
  • If your intended major is Intelligent Systems Engineering, you must also have a 620 minimum new SAT math score or 26 math ACT score
  • Applicant must be an In-state or Out-of-state International student.
