Teniola Apata, who is popularly and professionally known as “Teni” is a multi-talented artist born on the 12th of December 1992. She is a singer, songwriter, stage performer, and entertainer.
She was born in Lagos State, Nigeria to a family of Mr. and Mrs. Apata. Teniola Apata originates from the Ekiti state of Nigeria. She is the 9th born of the 10 children given birth to by their parents. Teni’s late father was a retired Brigadier before he died in 1995.
Teni released her first debut song “Amen” but it didn’t hit as intended during the period she signed with Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Record. In 2017, she left the previous record label to sign with Dr. Dolor Entertainment.
Later that year she released another single in September called “Fargin” which made an impact in introducing her to the music industry. Her fame began to grow as she released singles like “Askamaya”, “case” and “Uyo meyo”. She had released several songs and been awarded several rewards.
