School of Nursing Ibadan Admission 2023

The University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan is accepting applications from interested and qualified applicants for admission to its School of Nursing for the academic year 2023/2024.

The program lasts three years, after which students must pass both the School and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Final Examinations to qualify, be registered, and operate as General Nurses (RN).

Entry Requirement

• At the time of application, applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Apply if you have at least five (5) credit passes at O’ Level in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in not more than two sittings.

Admissions Criteria

• At the time of application, applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• At least five (5) O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics from the same examination body (WAEC or NECO) in not more than two (2) sittings, or NABTEB in one (1) sitting.

How to Apply

Beginning M onday, April 12th, 2022, the application form will be available on the UCH SCHOOLS’ PORTAL at https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng

. Interested individuals should perform the following:

• Pay a non-refundable fee of N7,700.00 to University College Hospital, Ibadan T.S.A. Account- School of Nursing through any commercial bank. At the UCH Accounts Department, the teller will be transformed into a receipt.
• Make a payment of N200.00 into the Oyo State Nursing and Midwifery Committee Account, First Bank Plc. 2019704292.
• To get a SCRATCH CARD with PIN for logging on to the website for online application submission, present both the UCH receipt and the First Bank teller for payment of #200.00 at Room 6, School of Nursing.
• To log in and create an account, go to https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng

, download the Applicants’ User Guide, and enter the PIN on your SCRATCH CARD.
• To input your data and submit your application online, follow the steps in the Applicants’ User Guide.
• Print two copies of your form and photocard and present them to Room 6, School of Nursing, for validation.

SELECTION METHODOLOGY: PLEASE NOTE:

• Applicants will receive notification of the date, location, and time of the Computer Based (CBT) Entrance Examination via e-mail and text messages.
• Only candidates who have their Photocards authenticated (stamped) will be permitted into the examination hall.
• Only those who perform well on the examination will be invited for an interview or be considered for selection after the interview.
