RIVER STATE SCHOLARSHIP 2021

The state government to contribute to its indigenes and empower them through education therefore they made provision for both local and international of Rivers state invites all eligible candidates to their scholarship program. Students who are indigenes of Rivers state and wish to apply for undergraduate studies are eligible for the scholarship of the center of Nigeria’s oil industry.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Only indigenes of Rivers state.
• WASC/GCE/SSCE in one sitting, with five credits which including Mathematics and English.
• Certificate of Origin.
• Admission letter from the institution including course studied and course duration.
• Must be a full-time 100 level student of the following institutions: University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State University, River State Polytechnic, River state University of Education, River State of Arts and Science.
• Current school fees receipt of the institution.
• Letter of recommendation from your village head
• Valid Identification card.

Eligible candidates are to come to the Obi Walk Cultural Centre in Port Harcourt for verification.

SHELL NIGERIA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES

The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC), provides scholarships for indigenes of the communities as part of their corporate social responsibilities mostly international. they also partnered with three universities in the UK which are the University of Aberdeen, Imperial College, London, University of Leeds for one-year MSc studies.
