All of Liberia’s universities provide top-notch education. The largest and oldest university is, however, the University of Liberia. More than 54.8 percent of Liberians were literate in 2013.
Liberia has 14 community colleges, 9 National Universities, and 4 Private Universities. They all provide undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees.
Any of the following fields, including geology, sociology, economics, nursing, social work, rural development, laboratory technology, architectural engineering, and others, are available for study. 3456 international students are enrolled.
Private universities are more popular because they offer higher-quality education and are connected to cutting-edge technical facilities. Unless you are a citizen or come from a wealthy family, your employment options are quite limited.
