Adedamilola Adefolahan popularly known by the stage name “Fireboy DML” is a fast-growing Nigerian pop artist, songwriter, entertainer, stage performance, and recording artist born on the 5th of February, 1996 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Fireboy graduated from one of the best tertiary institutions in Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife (OAU) bagging a Bachelor’s Degree in the English language. His interest in music developed when he discovered his singing ability and songwriting ability as well, so he joined the choir section in his church to further fine-tune this ability of his. He started rapping for a while before he switched to singing, and his unique style of lyrics creation made his fans grow so fast within a short time.
Thrilled by his achievements in 2018, Olamide Badoo stretched a hand to him requesting him to join his record label which he did and was signed to the YBNL record label.
