Collins Michael Ajereh popularly and professionally known as “Don Jazzy” was born on the 26th of November, 1982. Research shows that his mother was a princess in Umuahia, Abia state, and his father was from Isoko, Delta state. Later in life, his family moved down to Ajegunle, Lagos State where he was raised.
Surprisingly, Don Jazzy started showing interest in music at the tender age of four when he started beating the local drums and also continued to age 12 when he started playing bass guitar.
Don Jazzy is a Nigerian Music artist, a music producer, and also an entrepreneur. He is the Chief Executive Officer of one of the most popular and strong record labels in Nigeria “The Marvin record label” and is also tagged as the third richest Nigerian Music Artist as of this moment.
Don Jazzy is regarded as a Legend in the music industry because of his immense contribution to the growth of the Music Industry and also to the life of growing talents in Nigeria. He first sign D’banj and produced his 2004 album “No long thing” in 2005. Later on in the industry, he signed Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Rema, Iyanya, Wande Coal, Johnny Drill, Ladipoe, Crayon, and DNA twins among others, and has also produced songs for many music artists.
