1. University of Ruhuna

2. University of Colombo

This is a government-owned university, it was formerly affiliated campus of the University of London but transformed into a university over time. It is the 2nd ranked university in the country and had relationships with many international Universities.

This is also a government-owned university, top best three universities in the country. It offers various bachelor’s and master’s programs for both citizens and international students.

 

4. University of Kelaniya

Location – Kelaniya

This is also a government-owned university, formerly established as Vidyalankara Pirivena, but transformed into a university over time. There are about 6 faculties with several departments.
