About the Campbell Fellowship for Women
The Campbell Foundation for women is aimed at offering a fellowship to female postdoctoral social scientists from developing nations who focuses on social and economic empowerment.
The program’s objectives are twofold: to advance the academic careers of female social scientists from developing countries, and to fund research that identifies causes of gender inequality in developing countries and proposes practical solutions for promoting women’s economic and social empowerment.
Applicants must be nationals of developing nations that are eligible to borrow from the World Bank at the time of application.
Applicants must demonstrate their fluency in English, such as through a record of professional interaction in written and spoken English, to fully engage in the SAR intellectual community.
Available Subjects
Applicants should be working on a project in one of the social sciences, such as political science, anthropology, economics, geography, education, history, law, psychology, social work, sociology, or linguistics, or in an interdisciplinary field combining two or more of these fields.
