Olubankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W is a multi-talented artist. He was born on March 27, 1981, in the United State of America to Nigerian parents. He started singing at a very young age in his church as a chorister. He started his record label E.M.E in 2002 while he was studying in the United States.
In 2003 Olubukola Wellington released the song “Undeniably” which gave a rise to his career and made him popular. After that song, he released a lot of songs that were hits Banky W’s songs have always been a hit whenever they are released.
In 2008 Banky W established his record label in Lagos Nigeria after his graduation when he came back from the United States. Before the dissolution of the record label, he signed new talents like Wizkid, Niyola, Shaydee, and Skales at that time.
