Prince Adekunle Moruf Kosoko popularly known by his stage name as Adekunle Gold was born on the 28th of January, 1987 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He is a talented Nigerian highlife vocalist, songwriter, stage performer, recording artist, and graphic designer.
He officially announced his interest in music as a career in 2010 during one of the interviews he had at that time. He described the path he is taking in the musical career as “urban high life”. In 2014, he released a single “Sade” which spread fast all through Nigeria as it was been played by almost all radio stations at that time.
He also released another in 2015 “Orente” which also became a hit and several others were dropped too and still dropping. From these songs, he got several awards that raised his popularity and further motivates him to grow more.
