NECO RESULT 2021 UPDATE

The National Examinations Council (also known as NECO) is an examination body in Nigeria that conducts the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) and the General Certificate in Education (GCE) in June/July and November/December respectively.

For some months now, there have been lots of news concerning the NECO examination for 2021, this article will give you the latest NECO news for 2021, read through it carefully.

The National Examination Council is an examination body responsible for administering the Senior School Certificates Examinations as well as the General Certificate in Education.

These exams usually take place between the period of June/July and December/January usually after WAEC examinations.

However, NECO came on board during the administration of Adulsalami Abubakar the then head of state of Nigeria in 1999.

Also, NECO was created with the true sole motive to offer subsidized registration of exams to candidates in Nigeria.

This body came on board and took over the responsibilities of the then National Board of Education Measurement (NBEM). The first Exams conducted by NECO took place in 2000.

NECO RESULT UPDATE.

The national Examination Registrar Wushishi has urged the 2021 Neco Candidates to remain calm as their results will be released in due time. The Registrar has made it known to the general public that the council is taking it’s time to cross-check the 2021 SSCE result before it will be uploaded on the Neco Official website.
