Yemi Eberechi Alade professionally and popularly known as “Yemi Alade” is a Nigerian singer mostly popular among African countries. She was born on the 13th of March, 1989 in Abia state, Nigeria to the former commissioner of police named “James Alade”. Her mother is an Igbo and her father is a Yoruba and this explains why she understands both languages well. She had most of her education in Lagos state Nigeria, starting from primary education to tertiary education. Yemi Alade is the fifth born of seven children of her parent.

Yemi Alade is a Female Nigerian Afropop singer who can fluently speak an average of five languages.  She had her music debut as a member of a girl group known as “Notify Spice”. She also released several singles that were big hits especially “Johnny” which was produced by Selebobo. It was a huge success as it hit the music cart in Tanzania, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Liberia, Uganda, the United States, Nigeria, and a few other countries.
