The scholarship assists students interested in the Undergraduate level progr am(s) in the field of History studied at the University of York. The University of York Undergraduate International Scholarship in History is a partially funded Scholarship for international undergraduate level students who want to study History at the University of York. The award amount paid by the scholarship to successfully selected students is £3,000.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, the applicants must meet the following criteria:

• You must be holding an offer to study for the bachelor in History (or a Combined degree that includes History) in the Department of History at the University of York for entry in September 2021.
• Applicants’ families must have a Residual Household Income (RHI) of £42,875 or less.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate, through a written statement of up to 500 words, explaining that the History BA Undergraduate support will help you to fulfill your educational and professional dreams.

How to Apply

To be enlisted in the program, candidates must have been admitted in the undergraduate degree coursework at the university to study History. There is no special application for this scholarship. International students that meet the criteria will be automatically considered for this program once admitted to the school for History.
