Chibuzo Nelson Azubuike popularly and professionally known as “Phyno” was born on the 9th of October, 1986. Phyno hails from Anambra state, Nigeria. He is the fourth child of five children by his parent. He was raised in Enugu state where he completed his primary, secondary school, and tertiary education before pursuing music as a career.

Although like many other average Nigerian youths, he wanted to become a medical doctor or a pilot, destiny had her ways. He was skillfully talented in playing musical instruments like piano and drum.

In 2003 he started his music career and because of how important it is to him he traveled down to Lagos state for that same purpose. Phyno has also produced songs for music artists like Timaya, Flavour, and Mr. Raw among others.
