Nneka Egbuna popularly known professionally as “Nneka” was born on the 24th of December, 1980. She was born and raised in Warri, Delta state, a south southern part of Nigeria. She was born and raised by a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother. She is a famous and talented Nigerian singer, songwriter, actress, and humanitarian. She can speak languages like pidgin, Igbo, and English comfortably.
After completing her primary and secondary school education in Nigeria Nneka relocated to Hamburg, Germany in 1999 where she studied Anthropology at the University. So, while in school she took up the job of performing in the underground dancehall scene as a part-time job to finance her education.
Nneka slipped into the music industry officially in 2004 while performing as an opening act for dancehall reggae star, Sean Paul in Hamburg, Germany. She then released her EP “uncomfortable truth” which brought light to her fame. She started to take up shows in Germany, Switzerland, and Australia. In 2005, she released her debut album which was well-accepted in countries like England, Nigeria, and Japan as she sold millions of album copies.
Nneka is known as a “tourist Queen” as she loved touring all over the world performing. She is regarded to be one of the richest Nigerians in the Music Industry. Nneka has achieved a lot and won several awards. Nneka’s net worth for the year 2022 is estimated to be 3 million dollars.
