Chukwie Edozien popularly known by the stage name “Lynxx” was born on the 24th of November, 1983. He was born into a family of six, Lynxx being the last child and the only son to be taken to the former deputy governor of old Bendel State, Chief John Edozien.

He had his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State, Nigeria, and went further for his tertiary education at the University of Hull, United Kingdom.

He got noticed in the music industry in 2009 when he released his first hit single “Change your parade” which was produced by syndik8 in-house producer and partnered by “IKON”. In 2010, a year after the release of his first single, he released his debut album “This is Lynxx”. The album featured a combination of different music genres like commentary music, Urban hip-hop, funky house, and RnB which he referred to as “Jollof Musik”.

Apart from making music as his professional career, he is also a successful entrepreneur who had invest himself in a series of successful businesses like Syndik8 denim, a digital recording studio called “Red Room studio”, a media company called Happy Teddy Media (HTM) and Syndik8 films.
