There’s a degree program called IJMB and JUPEB.
It’s specially for students who got a low jamb score or low CGP

IJMB is the acronym for Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination. This program was formally known as HSC(Higher School Certificate). This program was established and accredited by NUC in 1976. This program is moderated and pioneered by AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY Zaria (ABU). This program serves as an alternative for students to gain admission directly into 200level to any University their choice and to study any course of their choice without UTME and POSTUTME.

The duration of this program is 9-12months divided into 2 semesters. The cost of this program is affordable. The certificate obtained after this program does not expire unlike UTME result which can only last for a year.

JUPEB is the acronym for Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board. This program was established and accredited by NUC in 2015. This program is moderated and pioneered by University of Lagos in affiliation to other tertiary institutions in Nigeria such as OAU, FUTO, FUNAB, FUTA, KWASU. e.t.c.

The duration of this program is 9-12months divided into 2 semesters. The certificate obtained after this program does not expire. The cost of this program is affordable.

IJMBE/JUPEB requirements!!!

1) 0’level result (Not more than 2 sittings)

2) 8 passports.

3) Birth certificate(optional)

4) State of origin certificate (optional)

The grades range from A-F

B-4

C-3

D-2

E-1

F-0

NB:Extra 1point will be given to any student without grade F in his/her result

The total point for IJMB is 15 point.

Plus extra 1 point.

It makes 16points.
