Visit Hungary if you want to learn a language unlike any other and see beautiful locations like the capital city Budapest or Lake Balaton.

There are 62 colleges totaling 17 state universities, 13 colleges, 26 religious colleges, and 6 private foundations, from which 28.1% of all Hungarians have graduated with a bachelor’s degree or higher.

EU nationals can enroll in study programs at public universities for free, but other international students must pay to attend.

There are numerous grants and scholarships available, such as those funded by the government or IREX, to assist overseas students. The percentage of overseas students in Hungary is 4.3%.
