Joeboy is another promising Music artist in Nigeria whose real name is “Joseph Akinfenwa Bonus”. He is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, entertainer, recording artist, and entrepreneur. He was born on the 21st of May, 1997 in Lagos state Nigeria. Due to the fact that he was born and raised in Lagos state, he had all his education there from primary education to Secretary school education down to UNILAG where he had his tertiary education.
He started recording his songs at the age of seventeen (17). In 2017, Mr. Eazi discovered him after watching his freestyle cover of Ed Sheeran’s song “Shape of you”. He then signed with Mr. Eazi’s Funding and mentorship program called “emPawa100” becoming the first of the 100 recipients from 10,000 applicants in 14 countries to win a grant worth $300,000. He then used his own share as reported to shoot his next music video which was a success.
