JAMB 2020/2021 Candidates Must Upload O’Level Results To be Considered for Admission

To further clear the air concerning if candidates awaiting their O’level results can register for the 2020/2021 UTME and secure admission, the JAMB has stated emphatically that all 2020/2021 JAMB Candidates will be considered for admission provided they are able to upload their O’level results on the JAMB website before their institution of choice concludes admission for this session

After that, JAMB will go through the records; candidates who fail to upload their results will not be recommended or considered for admission by JAMB in any of the institutions (Universities, Polytechnics Colleges of Education etc).

This is to ensure that only qualified and eligible candidates are offered admission. This is because JAMB has discovered in previous years many candidates who were offered admission end up not meeting the requirements for admission to courses and institutions they chose.

All candidates whether or not they used awaiting results are advised to ensure they check their portal again to confirm their O’level result is still intact on the JAMB portal. If you are in doubt concerning whether or not your O’level result is still intact on the JAMB portal, you are advised to re-upload the result.

So all prospective JAMB candidates are advised to ensure their O’level results are uploaded on the JAMB website before the admission deadline of their various schools in order to be considered or recommended for admission.
