Professor Amidu Olalekan Sanni, Vice-Chancellor of Fountain University Osogbo, has congratulated Muslims around the world on the successful conclusion of the month-long Ramadan fast and the 2018 Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
Professor Sanni appeal to all Muslim faithful, especially students and staff of the University, to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan, namely selfless, love, God-consciousness, peace, and service, to their daily lives beyond the Ramadan period in a press release personally signed by him and made available to pressmen in Osogbo.
‘As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, it is my sincere desire and prayer that the spiritual and social teachings derived from Ramadan, which find expression and meaning in piety, persistence, self-discipline, and love for others, will be sustained throughout the period following this great exercise,’ he said.
