Kano University of Science and Technology gets NUC accreditation for 21 programs
The full accreditation was valid for the next five years, according to a letter dated April 14, 2022, issued by the NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abubakar Abdulrasheed, through the commission’s Director of Accreditation, Dr. Maryam Sali.
Following an inspection and confirmation of manpower resources and facilities available for the training of highly qualified graduates, the accreditation was granted.
Agricultural Education, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Health Education, Geography, Human Kinetics, and Library and Information Science are among the fully accredited academic programs by the commission.
Following a successful resource assessment, the institution gained full approval from the commission to develop 14 new academic programs and one postgraduate program.
Forestry and Wildlife Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management, and Building Technology are just a few of the new programs.
